G. Usage / making a bottle

1. Making a bottle #

The Milk Maker is set to ‘milk mode’ by default. The ‘milk’ indicator light flashes to indicate that the water in the boiler is heating up. Wait until the ‘milk’ indicator light stops flashing. Now the Milk Maker is ready to make the Milk.

Press the +/- button to set the desired amount. The number displayed on the right side indicates the amount of water in ml. When the ‘milk’ indicator stops flashing, press START to prepare the milk. Do you only want water? Then press the button for ‘Water’.

Milk powder is added to the preset amount of water during bottle preparation. The number of ml in your bottle is higher than the preset amount of water. You can check the amount of ml according to the diagram on the packaging of the milk powder.

Note: The Milk Maker is equipped with a bottle sensor, to prevent it from making milk if any of the buttons are accidentally touched. Thus, the Milk Maker only works when there is a bottle underneath.

If the sensor does not detect the bottle, you can deactivate the sensor as follows: press the MENU, START and – buttons simultaneously. You will then hear a long beep combined with a white light that lights up. You can now prepare milk.

2. Temperature control #

Press the MENU button once to open the temperature control function. When the temperature indicator light flashes, it means the temperature control function has been successfully opened. Press the +/- buttons to adjust the temperature.

3. Cleaning and disinfection mode #

Press and hold the MENU button for three seconds to enter cleaning and disinfection mode. The indicator light comes on. The temperature indicates 95 degrees, the water volume is at 220 ml and the ‘cleaning and disinfection mode’ light flashes to indicate that the Milk Maker is heating up. The mixing funnel should be in place and place a glass on the bottle tray.

The temperature and water volume are set by default and cannot be changed. When the ‘cleaning and disinfection mode’ light stops flashing, the Milk Maker is at the right temperature and cleaning and disinfection can be started by pressing the START button. Never stay in this mode for too long.

Note: The Milk Maker’s ‘milk mode’ is the default mode. When in cleaning and disinfection mode, press the MENU button to return to milk mode.

Before the boiler can be cleaned, it should be emptied to prevent damage to the inside of the Milk Maker.

This is done as follows. In standard mode: remove the watertank and boiler lid, place an empty bottle on the bottle tray and press the +/- buttons simultaneously. Hold the buttons down until the water begins to flow out of the Milk Maker. Press START when the Milk Maker is empty. This is easily audible by the sound. The device can now be turned off and then cleaned. Only switch the machine on again after the boiler lid and watertank have been installed and filled.

All removable parts of the Milk Maker should be cleaned regularly. To do this, follow the cleaning guidelines in this manual.
